Eaton’s Fairytale Vignettes

Once displayed in the ninth-floor annex of Eaton’s Department Store (where Bell MTS Place now stands), this collection of small-scale fairytale vignettes has been a holiday favourite for generations of Winnipeggers. The Children’s Museum took ownership of the collection when Eaton’s Department Store closed its doors in 1999, and have continued to proudly display the collection ever since.

Last year, the collection, which includes storybook favourites like Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty and Three Blind Mice, was expanded by a donation of six animatronic woodland characters from the City of Winnipeg.

This exhibit is included with regular museum admission.
