The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra performs with award-winning drummer Sherrie Maricle.

The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra is the only community-based professional jazz orchestra in Canada. For the season opener, award-winning band leader and dynamic drummer Sherrie Maricle leads the WJO.

With her big band, the DIVA Jazz Orchestra and numerous small groups, Maricle’s dynamic drumming burns with intensity, surprises with nuance, and propels soloist and ensemble alike to dizzying heights.
