Animal Inside Out Exhibition

Explore the inner workings of animals at The Manitoba Museum.

This educational exhibit is the latest venture by BODY WORLDS creator, anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, and is all about discovering what makes animals tick under their skin. A process called “plastination” is used to preserve the bodies of actual animals in different states to showcase their skeletal and muscular makeup.

Traverse the sea, where a preserved shark and giant squid swim, then head to land to spot birds and various mammals. The exhibit features over 100 specimens (including humans), from tiny creatures like rabbits to enormous animals like giraffes, the tallest mammal on earth.

No animals were harmed in the making of this exhibit.
