Manitoba artist Anja Studer debuts her new series “Protect What You Love” at Pulse Gallery.

In her pieces, Studer call people to action through a series of encaustic paintings of animals native to the province of Manitoba. Each painting combines an abstract landscape, an animal illustration and a graphic pattern symbolizing one of the threats to the featured animal’s survival. Through her art, Studer hopes to inspire others to protect the wildlife with which we share our home. 10% of all sales is going to be donated to the Winnipeg based Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.
