Jazz Winnipeg’s 30th Anniversary Celebration

Join in celebrating Jazz Winnipeg's 30th annual festival with a kickoff event at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

Start off Winnipeg’s Jazz Festival with this immersive multistage concert in collaboration with The Canadian Museum for Human Rights features performances by jazz vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant (pictured), Canadian musician and CBC Radio host Laila Bialicharismatic, saxophonist Joshua Redman along with local artists. The event will also include a special tribute to Izzy Asper and his contribution to the cultural identity of Winnipeg.
