Lights on the Exchange 2025

Bold displays of lights are set to illuminate Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District during winter’s darkest months.  This interactive winter arts festival brightens the neighbourhood with glimmers and flickers on brick and terracotta buildings, storefronts, rooftops and alleyways, creating an outdoor, walkable gallery in many forms.  This third annual initiative is sparked by a diverse collection of Canadian artists, Allumez le Quartier, aiming to create fresh, contemporary installations, sculptures and projections that reveal reimagined history of the city’s magnificent centre neighbourhood.
