Premiered in 1816, the tale follows Figaro the barber as he helps Count Almaviva win the heart of the beautiful Rosina and rescue her from the cruel Dr. Bartolo. Talented Canadian vocalists and musicians perform in this presentation of Rossini’s classic comedy the Barber of Seville, presented by the Manitoba Opera.
