Nuit Blanche

Nuit Blanche Winnipeg is a free all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art that takes place on the Saturday of the Culture Days weekend from dusk to dawn. Held annually since 2010, the events and exhibits attract thousands of people to installments around the city.

Artists, galleries, cultural organizations and independent curators create and host their own events. These events are free to the public, designed to encourage and celebrate arts and culture in our community.

Fun fact: Although Nuit Blanche directly translates to “white night”, this French term actually means “sleepless night”, a fitting title as this annual city-wide art festival runs from dusk until dawn.
