The Play That Goes Wrong

Returning to Royal MTC after directing last season’s runaway hit Clue, director Dennis Garnhum is bringing the laughs back to the Mainstage with The Play That Goes Wrong. This play within a play production presents The Cornley Drama Society back in high spirits with The Murder at Haversham Manor. Despite their spotty track record, the Society is convinced this 1920s whodunnit will be the big break they’ve been waiting for. But when things start to go… for lack of a better word… wrong, this band of accident-prone thespians put a new meaning into the term ‘the show must go on.’ This ill-fated production is coming to the Mainstage for a hilarious opening to the 2024/25 season.
