The Third Colour by Ian Ross is an absurdist dramedy that traces the history of Canada, from pre-settler to current day, through the eyes of two spirits in the shape of Indigenous women. Drawing from the Indigenous tradition of oral history and symbolic story-telling, Governor General’s Award-winning playwright Ian Ross offers a funny and honest exploration of the Indigenous/settler relationship and the notion of reconciliation.
