Recently opened Exchange District Eatery James Avenue Pumphouse showcases a piece of Winnipeg’s history. This former 1906 fire station is now home of a spacious dining room overlooking the gigantic gears, pipes and safety nets used by WFD at the turn of the century. Chef Mark Merano serves multi-culti crowd favourites to attract citizens and visitors. Expect twice-fried chicken, tacos with Mexican birria dip and a super-sized perogy served with dill cream and kielbasa as a statement entree.
