Celebrate fast-approaching summer at this two-day neighbourhood festival. The fun starts on Friday evening at West End Cultural Centre. Kick off the weekend with bingo and music from JD and the Sunshine Band. Saturday afternoon calls for a block party. Head to Ellice Avenue (between Sherbrook St and Langside St) for a great outdoor live concert with performances by local bands like The Lion’s Den, Girls Rock Winnipeg and Indian City. Bring the kids for lots of family-friendly activities including crafts, face painting, street performers and more.
