Cellist Nick Photinos is a founding member and co-Artistic Director of the four-time Grammy Award-winning chamber music ensemble Eighth Blackbird. As a solo artist, Photinos performs music from his debut album Petits Artéfacts in this GroundSwell production. The show also includes a rare performance of Steve Reich’s classic 2003 work Cello Counterpoint for amplified cello and pre-recorded audio.
