Returning to Winnipeg, Indigenous Day Live celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day with multiple events across Canada and is streamed on a live TV broadcast. Join in for a free day of activities and live music in celebration of the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Metis Peoples. A sunrise ceremony and sacred fire occur at the Oodena Circle at The Forks to kick off the day.
Daytime activities run from 11 am-6 pm, with the Indigenous Day Live concert starting at 7:30 pm.
