Disco Sugarplums

A sugary confection of dried fruit and chopped nuts, the sugarplum is a holiday tradition that, much like disco, is ready for a come back. The next time visions of sugarplums dance in your head, put on ABBA’s Dancing Queen and let the party begin.

Ingredients
1 cup pitted dates
1 cup dried apricots
1 cup sultana raisins
1 cup currants
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup orange liqueur
1 cup sugar

Method

  1. Process or chop dates, apricots, raisins and currants.
  2. Add walnuts and liqueur, stir to mix.
  3. Form into plum-shaped balls and roll in sugar.
