Far from traditional sushi joint, Naru specializes in fusion concoctions that are baked or fried or slathered in cheese. Unexpected ingredients pop up, such as blueberries in the blue mountain roll, and cheese in the deep fried sweet pepper roll. Packed with fried lobster, the red scorpion roll is utterly decadent, and is typical of Naru’s experimental indulgence.
