Real Chocolate Snow

Snow and Moon Dessert Cafe

Mochi ice cream, a popular Japanese dessert, is made from rice dough wrapped around ice cream.

Ingredients

Snow

2 cups whole milk 

1/3 cup condensed milk 

Toppings

1 Tbsp chocolate sauce 

1 scoop chocolate ice cream  

1 chocolate Mochi ice cream ball

1 slice brownie, cut into bite size pieces 

1 – 2 crushed Tim Tams 

1 – 2 waffle sticks 

2 pieces dark chocolate 

1/3 cup whipped cream

Method

Snow

  1.  Combine milk and condensed milk and stir until smooth. 
  2.  Pour milk mixture in ice cube trays and let freeze.
  3.  Add frozen cubes to blender or food processor and blend in short intervals until cubes reach shaved texture. 

Toppings

  1.  Spread chocolate sauce on the bottom of a serving bowl, add snow to bowl and drizzle more sauce.
  2.  Place brownies around the edge of the snow.
  3.  Add whipped cream to the center of the snow. 
  4.  Add chocolate ice cream on top. 
  5.  Add crushed Tim Tams and waffle sticks decoratively. 
  6.  Garnish with whipped cream and mochi ice cream on top.

Yield 1 serving
