A Winnipeg tradition, the first location of this local chain opened its doors in 1958. Now several locations serve up the same homey menu of breakfast faves in a warm and familial atmosphere. Famous for its signature giant apple pancake, a warm German-style pancake sticky with cinnamon sugar and tart apples. The full menu includes crêpes, waffles and French toast as well as burgers, roast beef, soups and salads. Forks location has an excellent riverside patio in the summer.
