Spicy Italian sausage adds heat to this versatile side.
Ingredients
1 pkg whole button mushrooms
2 Tbsp olive oil
4 Italian sausages, grilled
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red or yellow pepper, cut in 1/4″ strips
1 Tbsp white wine
pinch of salt
Method
- Sauté mushrooms in olive oil on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until caramelized.
- Slice sausages lengthwise. Add minced garlic, peppers, sausages, salt and white wine to mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Yield 4 servings
