Spice and garlic awaken taste buds in this super smooth tomato-based sauce.
Ingredients
2 lb mussels
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
2 Tbsp olive oil
garlic to taste
splash of white wine
pinch of red pepper flakes
Method
- In a large saucepan on medium high heat, sauté garlic in oil until golden.
- Add mussels and pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 min.
- Add white wine. Sauté for 1 min.
- Add sauce. Simmer for 5 mins.
Yield 4 servings
